The Role

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Forward Deployed Engineers work directly with customers to quickly understand their greatest problems and design and implement solutions using innovative technology. In this role, you’ll apply your problem-solving ability, creativity, and technical skills to help organisations use their skills to drive a real impact in the world. You’ll have the opportunity to gain rare insight into and contribute to some of the most important industries and customers in the UK.

Responsibilities:

You’ll work in small teams and own end-to-end execution of high stakes projects. A day might span discussing architecture with fellow engineers, making sense of data, coding a custom web app, speaking with customer end users, or establishing strategy for your team.

  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in cloud technologies and infrastructure automation.
  • Proficiency with Git for version control and collaboration.
  • Understanding of networking, virtual and physical
  • Strong hands-on experience with cloud platforms, specifically Azure and AWS.
  • Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve platform-related issues, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Proven ability to design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab/Azure DevOps.
  • Skilled in containerisation using Docker and orchestration tools.
  • Understanding of hardware components and their integration with software systems.

Requirements:

  • Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Strong engineering background.
  • Experience with cloud platforms, particularly Azure / AWS.
  • Proficiency in containerisation technologies such as Docker.
  • Ability to be on site with the customer 3/5 days a week.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
